Joan As Police Woman’s Joan Wasser fell in love with the violin in the third grade, and has been playing and creating music ever since. Joan, who had just moved out on her own, sang and wrote songs for Black Beetle following the death of her boyfriend. After a few years, however, she went solo to become Joan As Police Woman, a reference to the classic ’70s cop show.
In support of her newest album, The Deep Field, Joan As Police Woman is embarking on her first tour of the U.S. this spring in March and April.
