The tour’s co-headliner is Blackheart Records recording artist The Dollyrots. The Sarasota, Florida, natives are a female-fronted punk rock trio. No stranger to Austin, The Dollyrots have already performed multiple times in Austin this year having played SXSW in March and with the legendary Buzzcocks at Mohawk in June. They are currently touring to support new album, Little Messed Up, set to be released next month. If you missed them before, here is your chance to catch them yet again only with Bowling For Soup.
Formed in 2004 in the thriving metropolis that is Wichita Falls, Texas, pop-punk rockers Bowling For Soup have amassed over a million album sales over the years. Today the Denton, Texas based band has over ten studio albums and is still performing when many of their pop-punk counter parts of their era have come and gone. Some of their popular hit songs include “1985”, “Punk Rock 101” and “High School Never Ends” just to name a few. Bowling For Soup is currently working on their eleventh studio album with a 2011 release date to be determined.
