Austin-based post-rock quintet Equals celebrated the upcoming release of their debut full-length album Tracts on Friday, Apr. 11, at Empire Control Room & Garage. The bill’s support consisted of Austin-based folk-fusionist Roger Sellers backed by a full band and noisey punk outfit Future Death. Red River Noise contributing photographer Nicholas Kwasney was at the show to capture the live photos below.
Tracts is Equals’ followup or more of an expansion to their 2011 debut self-titled EP. Tracts will be available to the public on LP, CD and download on May 6. Pre-sale orders can be made via the band’s webstore.
