Today Louisville rockers and two-time Grammy nominees My Morning Jacket (MMJ) released their first music video from their latest album, The Waterfall, in lieu of their upcoming fall tour. Directed by Danny Clinch, the video incorporates incredible live video from previous shows they’ve performed at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver. The footage itself was shot by the folks at TourGigs.
MMJ’s fall headlining tour brings the group to Texas for three dates, two in Austin on Oct. 22 and 23 at Austin Music Hall. On October 24, MMJ will perform at Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie. All three dates will feature Portland indie band Fruit Bats as the opener.
In other MMJ news,the group is scheduled to perform three songs on the season premiere of Later…With Jools Holland on Palladia at 10 p.m. on Oct. 1 (along with Foals and Disclosure) with multiple re-airings throughout the rest of the month.
