World renowned recording and performing artist Morrissey is coming back to Austin for a headlining concert at the Austin Music Hall on May 24. The concert is in support of his upcoming Harvest Records debut album – his first since 2009’s Years Of Refusal. Moz will be joined be his longtime band composed of Boz Boorer (guitar), Jesse Tobias (guitar), Solomon Walker (bass), Matthew Walker (drums) and Gustavo Manzur (keyboards).
Morrissey’s special guest on all dates will be singer, songwriter and keyboardist Kristeen Young. Often mentioned in the same breath with the likes of Kate Bush and Tori Amos, the St. Louis-based artist is set to release her 7th studio album The Knife Shift set to be released later this spring. Considering Dave Grohl and Moz’s guitarist Boz Boorer contributed to the album, it only makes sense that Young was selected as support for this tour.
