Fort Worth-based “post-doom” duo Pinkish Black will release their sophomore album Razed To The Ground on Sept. 17 via Century Media. The follow up to 2012’s self-titled LP, Razed To The Ground is more what you already expect from the post-punk doom masters, but “doomier.” Stream a couple of tracks from the album before it hits the streets below.
In other Pinkish Black news, the band will be doing a full U.S. tour with sludge metal faves KYLSESA next month in support of Razed To The Ground. The tour begins on Oct. 1 in Athens, GA and includes an Austin stop at Red 7 on Oct. 9. Purchase tickets here.
Composed of members Daron Beck (vocals, keyboard, synth) and Jon Teague (drums, synth, loops), the band formed in 2010 shortly after the suicide of Tommy Atkins, past bassist of the predecessor, The Great Tyrant.
