Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In invites moviegoers to enjoy a nostalgic summer with its lineup of imaginative movies that include Never Ending Story, The Princess Bride and Labyrinth. Throughout the month of June, Blue Starlite kicks off the summer right with double features, refreshing treats and theme nights.
The June series is featuring two new theme nights: “Unlikely Hero’s Night” and “Hitchcock Night.” On June 6, “Date Night” is brought back with the rom-com classic There’s Something About Mary, staring Cameron Diaz and Ben Stiller. S’mores packages will be available along with sno-cones and ice cream sandwiches to keep things cool, literally and figuratively. For film junkies who love posters, Blue Starlite’s RV poster lounge will be selling authentic and original movie posters and the concession stand is connected, giving you a convenient one-stop shop.
Tickets range from $7 to $55, depending on package types and sale periods. The new location, with its spacious lot, is located outside the Austin Studios near Robert Mueller’s former landing strip. The new space is behind the National Guard Building at Austin Film Society. For more information and updates visit their website.
