More than 300,000 electric thrillseekers embark on a journey of escapism for one weekend each year to no other place except the vacation of sin, and home of the American Dream itself: Las Vegas.
Insomniac returns to you with the 17th annual Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, happening next year, June 21 to 23. After claiming the title of “largest North American music festival” in 2012, the crews behind Insomiac and Las Vegas Motor Speedway are shooting to fabricate this year’s production on a larger scale than ever before.
In 2012, the 1,000-plus-acre complex played host to more than 150 musical acts, 500 theatrical performers and 12 huge interactive and flame-wielding art installations, as well as top-shelf quality lighting and sound production and nightly pyrotechnics displays.
This mirage of twisted souls will be scattered throughout the streets and ditches of the desert city throughout the week of June 18 to June 25 for not only one of the most illustrious music festivals in the world, but a slew of nightclub and day events, a music conference and other surprises.
No acts have been announced yet. Tickets will go on sale Jan. 9 at noon Pacific time, with pricing to be announced in the coming weeks. There will be a layaway pricing option available, except at the lowest priced ticket tier. Single-day tickets will not be available for this year’s EDC.
