Since their debut in 1994, Cradle of Filth has long reigned as one of the pioneers of gothic and black metal. Deeply influenced by the writings of H.P Lovecraft, gothic literature, mythology and poetry, Cradle of Filth has conjured the underground dark side of music to the light of mainstream.
