Brooklyn, NY dance-punk ensemble The Toothaches, want you to be joyful with their latest single, “Pretty and Loud.” Comprised of Zimmermann Ayer (guitar, vocals), Rose Blakelock (keys, vocals), Monica Hubbell (percussion, vocals), Kiril Bauch (drums, vocals) and Christopher Rapoza (bass, vocals), The Toothaches have made a name for themselves, and “Pretty and Loud” is proof of that.
Exploding with melodic synths and power-pop chords, “Pretty and Loud” is upbeat and dance-friendly, with Blakelock channeling her inner Debbie Harry.
The group’s third studio album, O! Be Joyful, is currently out. If you like what you hear from “Pretty and Loud,” check out their website and purchase the CD. Don’t be surprised if you end up dancing the summer away.
