Ryan Karazija, the mastermind behind Low Roar, recently released his self titled debut album this past November. His move from San Francisco to Iceland sparked the fire for the theme of this album as he struggled to provide for his family in a foreign land. The deep tones and eerie pulsating strings provide a stark resemblance to the cold depths of the winter season.
“Tonight, Tonight, Tonight” speaks to us in the stark cold winter abyss. Through the tenderly chosen verbiage, acoustic guitars, and impassioned rhythmic piano lines, Zarazija depicts the raw self reflective persona of a trapped isolated individual in the distant penetrating temperatures of the frigid.
