Dubbed as the “forefather of indie-hop,” Sage Francis is widely considered one of our generation’s greatest lyricists. He went from winning the most highly coveted titles of the emcee battle circuit early in his career to being the first hip-hop artist signed to Epitaph Records, a label often associated with punk and hardcore genres. Today he is currently on tour in support of his sixth studio album, Copper Gone, released in 2014 via Strange Famous Records.
On Thursday, June 25, Sage Francis will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. Austin-based alternative hip-hop group The Triggermen open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. Doors open at 9 p.m. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on indoor stage. Advance tickets for this event are available for purchase online here.
