Baytown, Texas born JD Wilkes has built a diverse, enthusiastic fan base over his 20+ year musical career as the founder and only remaining original member of the Legendary Shack Shakers. Most recently, he was the frontman for Southern Roots band JD Wilkes & The Dirt Daubers. His solo records (Kitchen Tapes, Cattle In The Cane) cater to both traditional folk lovers and fans of his hard-driving rock n roll projects.
On Wednesday, Feb. 11, JD Wilkes will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Beerland. Austin’s own Irish influenced, rockabilly-punk band Black Irish Texas and one-man junk-folk-blues act Ghostwriter open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Feb. 10, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
