Former Voxtrot frontman Ramesh Srivastava released his debut album The King earlier this year via Austin Town Hall Records. It is the record that proved there is life (demand) after Voxtrot for the Austin-based singer-songwriter, as it was crowd funded via Kickstarter. As popular blog Cosequence of Sound put it, “the 10-track effort bounds between Voxtrot-inspired pop and more lush, instrumentally-focused tracks.”
On Thursday, Sept. 18, Ramesh will be celebrating the release of his debut LP on vinyl with a headlining concert at The Belmont. New York factory-gazers Mahogany and Austin-based She Sir open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 10 a.m. on Thursday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
The Belmont is located at 305 W. 6th Street. Doors open at 7 p.m. Music starts at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. Advance tickets are available for purchase online here. Visit the Facebook event page here.
