With surprising instrumentation, innovative songwriting, quirky melodies, and a healthy sense humor, Austin’s Bee vs. Moth plays music that defies traditional categories. The band has one foot in the world of jazz and creative improvisation, and the other firmly planted on a distortion pedal. Is Bee vs. Moth serious or silly? Virtuosic or spazzy? We’ll find the answer somewhere between doom metal and a brass band.
On Friday, Sept. 19, Bee vs, Moth will be celebrating the release of their third album Shelter in Place and their band’s 10th anniversary with a headlining concert at Spider House Ballroom in Austin. The supporting bill includes Austin faves Foot Patrol, POON and Peter Stopschinski. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Thursday, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
