New Yong Pony Club is an English nu-rave band featuring synth-driven melodies, classic U.K. rave beats, and Tahita Bulmer’s sultry yet detached vocals. Partly inspired by LCD Soundsystem and a chance meeting of like-minded band members intent on establishing something potent, Bulmer and guitarist Andy Spence formed the band in 2005. Currently the group is on tour in support of their latest release, NYPC.
On Friday, May 9, New Young Pony Club will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. Austin-based electronic dance groups Orthy and Young Pharaohs open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
