Philidelphia-based indie band Swearin’ formed in Brooklyn in 2011. After releasing their self-titled debut in 2012, they wasted no time releasing another critically-acclaimed album, Surfin’ Strange, in November via Salinas Records. It is a moodier record than its predecessor but the indie-rock growl and energy that propelled their debut are certainly present.
On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Swearin’ will be performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. Austin-based support will come from Midgetmen and Super Thief. The best part? We have two tickets to the concert to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Mohawk is located at 912 Red River. All ages are welcome. Doors open at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available for purchase here.
