WHY? is the hip-hop moniker of Cincinnati-born, Berkeley, California-based artist Jonathan “Yoni” Wolf. Founded in 2004, the project has grown into a full-fledged band that includes his brother, Josiah, and dabbles in indie-pop. WHY? is currently on tour in support of their new EP Golden Tickets released Sept. 17 via Joyful Noise.
On Friday, Sept. 27, WHY? is performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. The best part? Minneapolis-based alternative hip-hop artist Astronautalis co-headlines. of Montreal side-project Yip Deceiver opens. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
