The Blank Tapes is the moniker of Los Angeles and San Francisco-based musician Matt Adams, who has produced over 10 albums of 1960’s psychedelic-surf-pop-folk-rock on an old 8 track cassette tape recorder in various garages, basements, sheds & bedrooms across the California Coast. After almost exactly ten years and a new album and a new line-up, The Blank Tapes have finally become what he’s always wanted. The Blank Tapes are currently on tour in support of their latest release, Vacation LP (ANT543).
On Sunday, June 9, The Blank Tapes will be performing a headlining concert at Mohawk. Surf/garage rock group Beach Day co-headline. Austin’s own indie-psych rock band Deep Space opens the show. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle on Facebook. Just click LIKE every time you see a link to this post on our Facebook wall. We will pick the winner before 3 p.m. on Sunday, the day of the show. The winner will be notified via Facebook email and shared on our Facebook wall. Good luck!
