San Francisco-based Deafheaven were formed in February 2010 by vocalist George Clarke and guitarist Kerry McCoy. The duo form the core of the five-piece group. Their fusion of shoegaze and post-rock with black metal make them one of the most original groups in music. The band is currently on tour in support of their second album, Sunbather.
On Saturday, June 22, Deafheaven will be performing a headlining concert at Red 7. Co-headlining will be Marriages, the new band from Red Sparowes members Emma Ruth Rundle and Greg Burns with Chris Common from These Arms Are Snakes on drums. The best part? We have two tickets to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below and submit your full name and email address. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 4 p.m. on Friday, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise. Good luck!
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on the inside stage. Doors open at 9 p.m. Advance tickets are available for this show here.
