Swalloween. Yes, an event titled “Swalloween” does exist, and it will be happening Tuesday, October 30. Low on cash and cannot afford the french house sounds of Justice, or the talented rhymes of Mos Def? Then Swalloween is where you need to be.
Now in its third year Swalloween is an annual event, curated by party-throwing organization The Glitoris. From TuezGayz at Barbarella to Glitoris Fridays at Brass Monkey in San Antonio, The Glitoris specializes in creating creatively-named events, and Swalloween is no different.
Here’s a brief appetizer of what Swalloween will be offering, as stated on the event’s Facebook invite. “Cumpkins, ghetto ass witches” and “hooker ghosts.” Skeptical? Check out the invite for yourself here.
TriXXX & Treatzzzz INC. will provide horror film projections throughout the night, and DJ Glitoris (hands down, one of the best DJ names ever) will have scantily-clad ghosts and witches, dancing until they can’t anymore.
Swalloween is 21 and up, with festivities beginning at 10 p.m. Entrance is free until 12:30 a.m; after that patrons have to pay three dollars to enter. Barbarella will be hosting the event.
Three dollars for a good time? Swalloween is a bargain if you’re looking for a cheap way to start off your Halloween week.
