Punk rock legends The Queers formed in the early ’80s in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. While many define the band’s music as pop-punk, they definitely have hardcore sensibilities that have always registered well with the mohawked, mosh-pit punks of the world. Lead by the prolific and controversial Joe Queer (Joe King), the band continues to perform live after overcoming record label disputes and member changes. To really be into punk rock, one must be into The Queers.
On Friday, November 25, The Queers will be performing a headlining show at Emo’s (indoor). Austin punk rock favorites Lower Class Brats will co-headline and Knockout will open. The best part? We have two tickets to the show to give away to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle on our Facebook page. Just click LIKE every time you see a link to this post on our wall. We will pick the winner on Friday, November 25, the day of the show. The winners will be notified via Facebook email and shared on our Facebook wall. Good luck!
