Friday indie-pop fun. was in Austin for their Austin City Limits taping. With lots of young people in fun. merch and glitzy accessories, the taping was unlike any other we’ve experienced. We won’t say it was “fun.” because we’re better than that.
White Poppy, the solo project of British Columbian Crystal Dorval, released her debut self-titled full-length yesterday and it is a indie dream-gasm filled with gorgeous, experimental exploration of washed out psychedelic melodies, fuzzy guitars and floating vocals.
