Who says Friday the 13th is bad luck? Not for one lucky Red River Noise reader it won’t be. The Maine and Augustana will be headlining at La Zona Rosa in Austin on Friday, May 13, and we want to hook you up with free tickets to the show.
The Maine is an Arizona-based quintet that brings together elements of power-pop and alternative. Touring in support of their major-label debut Black & White, the band is working hard to live up to 2008’s critically acclaimed Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. Alternative Press selected The Maine as one of their Most Anticipated Albums of 2010.
Epic Records recording artist Augustana co-headline with The Maine. The San Diego based (piano) rock band is best known for popular singles “Boston” and “Sweet And Low.” They originally met and formed at Greenville College in Greenville, IL. The group is on tour in support of their new self-titled album which was just released on April 26.
We’ll be giving away a pair of tickets on Wednesday, May 11, on our Facebook page. All you have to do is click “Like” on our page to qualify. This only applies to fans in the Central Texas area capable of making it to the show. Good luck!
