Ever since working on Sparta’s third album, Threes (2006), Ward began to write more autobiographical acoustic tracks. After being supported in his creative endeavors, Ward went on to self-produce, record, and release the first of his solo EP-trilogy, Quiet (2007). Following Quiet, Ward toured with Sleepercar for a year, and wrote and released his sophomore album, In The Valley, On The Shores. Finally, after much anticipation, while home in El Paso, Ward quickly put together the last EP of the trilogy, The End Begins.
The End Begins still withholds the same contemplative and intimate feel as Ward’s previous efforts. Reflecting on themes of home, family, and establishing roots, the album was strongly influenced by his stay in El Paso for the last few years, after dedicating most of his life to producing music and touring the world. Jim Ward’s latest solo EP, The End Begins is now available through his new Tembloroso Creative Lab website, www.Tembloroso.com. The website is dedicated to providing a voice to the artists and musicians from his hometown, El Paso.
