Formerly Panzah Zandahz, Big Pauper is a producer, deejay, and a visual artist. Portland-bound Big Pauper spent ten years managing hip-hop label Token Recluse. Big Pauper established himself with his full-length cut and paste reinterpretations of Radiohead and Beck, and by performing at Scribble Jam & the Red Bull Music Academy, touring Europe, and working with Two Ton Sloth, Cut Chemist and the Dandy Warhols. Amidst all of his endeavors, Big Pauper’s most recent effort is his upcoming album Beyond My Means, available April 26.
Big Pauper’s Beyond My Means is a mix between early ’90s instrumental hip-hop, a modern day wave of downtempo electronic work with ’60s psych-rock. The album, flaunting its old-school essence, will be available only on vinyl, cassette and digital via Circle Into Square Records/Fake Four Inc.
