On the first Friday of each month, Club de Ville hosts a series called First Friday Frolic. This month, the event is titled “Knuckle Rumbler Night”, in honor of the hard-working promoters at Knuckle Rumbler. The evening will feature live sets from Not In The Face! and a twist of sweet Southern music from Crooks. DJ uLOVEi will also be featured throughout the night.
The party kicks off at 5 p.m. with food from Tacos & Tequila and bottomless beverages from Waialua Soda Works. If you stay late enough, you can catch FTMOA Residency Series alumni The Hi-Tones’ EP release and hear them launch their tour after the Frolic.
“Generally, this formula has worked like a charm since all parties — the local entity, bands, food, drink, product vendors are all exposed to a new audience thanks to the crowd each of them bring in,” explained Adi Anand, promoter for Transmission Entertainment and coordinator for the event. “The audience normally responds well to the mix of entertainment. It’s a really relaxed place to hang out or network, rock out or dance, eat some food, or drink the night away!”
