Anyone who’s been to a major music festival knows, people-watching can be just as important as the music when it comes to making the overall experience memorable. Festivals bring together diverse groups of people, and nowhere is that more evident than at Warped Tour. From mohawked punks decked in all-black and chains to kids in neon with Nintendo characters on their clothes, there were alternative fans of all stripes.
With that in mind, we sent Red River Noise managing editor AJ Miranda around the AT&T Center grounds with a camera to snap shots of the fans and other sites and scenes. Warped veterans know that the tour, in Texas anyway, is usually characterized by unbearably hot 100-degree days. This year was a change-up, as it rained most of the day. Dark clouds didn’t put a damper on the festivities, though. Check out the photos below.
