March 6, 2010. What began as the bedroom recording project of Van Pierszalowski and Cambria Goodwin has morphed into an impressive live indie-folk band. Recently, San Francisco’s Port O’Brien was the stylish meat in an indie-riffic sandwich at The Parish. This two-night stand saw The Dig opening and Portugal. The Man headlining on back-to-back nights. On a side note, The Parish is a photographer’s wet dream. Elaborate stage lights and smoke machine give the appearance of an arena show, but the place is small enough to stand inches away from the band.
