Friday, May 16, the folks from locally based event production company Vagabond Collective put on quite the showcase at Red River hotspot Holy Mountain. The show was headlined by Sorne, one Austin’s most eccentric and original performers we have ever seen or featured. Led by Morgane Sorne, the band includes a rotating cast of musicians and dancers, along with a production team that brings Sorne’s music and visual artistry to life.

Attendees on Friday were treated with a great supporting cast that could compose a great Austin music showcase on its own. Golden Graves opened, foot stompin’ folksters Hello Wheels followed and Zorch side-project Schmu joined the party. Before Sorne, new indie-electro band NGHT HCKLRS (pronounced Night Hecklers) took the stage. The group features Sorne co-horts Deano Cote and Kevin Naquin.
