Austin-based indie-tronica band, The Octopus Project, commemorated the grand unleashing of their fifth studio album, Fever Forms!, at Mohawk, July 6. Opening performances included Zorch, an experimental duo also from Texas’ capital, and Wild Moccasins, an indie-pop group hailing from Houston. Red River Noise photographer Mary Rehak was at Mohawk to capture the night’s performances.
The Octopus Project will set sail on the first leg of their tour later this month in Dallas, and will close out in France come October. For Octo-fanatatics or those that missed this show in Austin, the group will be performing a free in-store performance at Waterloo Records on July 22.
