MUTHEMATH VITALSFour years after their last album Odd Soul was released, MUTEMATH is finally releasing a follow-up, VITALS. The GRAMMY-nominated band has already released two singles from VITALS, “Monument” and “Used To,” even though the album isn’t arriving until Nov. 13. According to the official press release, tour dates for 2016 are also on their way.

Despite the album’s far-off release date, it’s already available for pre-order online. A dollar from each pre-order will go towards launching a chapter of Songs for Kids in MUTEMATH’s hometown of New Orleans. The foundation brings live music to kids dealing with illness in the form of live performances and small hospital shows.

Fans who stop by indie music stories on the release date will have the opportunity to buy the album on cassette (yes, you read that right, cassette). According to the press release, the tape will have 2 bonus tracks and there will be only 1,000 copies available. If you’re psyched for the cassette, but worried about getting your vinyl fix too, don’t worry. Cassette buyers will secure a vinyl pre-order through their purchase via a coupon they can exchange for a vinyl when they’re available post-holiday season.
