Producer, vocalist and Brooklyn-based artist Dawin has released his newest – and possibly sweetest – EP. Dessert was released on Sept. 25 via Casablanca Records. Dawin’s EP is a 5 song follow-up to his 2014 single “Just Girly Things,” which makes an appearance twice on the EP (once as a solo track and then featuring Kalin and Myles).
The same goes for the eponymous first single from the EP. The album has one version with Silentó but no whip or nae-nae, and a solo take. While an official video for “Dessert,” featuring Silentó hasn’t dropped yet, the lyric video is already out thanks to Flipagram. This is the first time the photo slideshow app has teamed up with an artist and its own users to create an official lyric video.
The video itself has selfie-style shots of Dawin, Silentó, and others singing into the camera while the lyrics bounce around the bottom of the screen. There’s also someone in a unicorn mask with cake, but you can check that out for yourself below.
