New York City indie rockers The Dig announced new fall headlining tour dates in support of their latest EP You & I, released in October last year. The tour begins the first week of September and includes an Austin date at Mohawk on Sept. 25. Austin-based dream-pop band Black Books will open the show.
The Dig formed in 2010, although singers Emile Mosseri and David Baldwin started making music together when they were eleven years old. They released their debut album Electric Toys that same year and their follow-up Midnight Flowers in 2012. In 2013, the group released their Tired Hearts EP. They Dig have opened or toured with many notable bands over the past few years including Portugal. The Man, The Walkmen, The Antlers, The Lumineers and The Joy Formidable.
