English synth-pop duo Erasure are hitting the road again in support of their upcoming new album The Violet Flame, due out on Sept. 23. Their Violet Flame tour hits Austin for two nights at ACL Live on Oct. 18 and 19. Tickets will be on sale for both nights beginning on Friday, June 6, at 10 a.m. The concert is part of the Audi Concert Series.
Vince Clarke and Andy Bell came together shortly after Clark left Depeche Mode and Yaz in 1985. Their earliest mainstream hit “Oh L’amour,” from 1986’s Wonderland, is still in radio and club rotation today. To date, Erasure have sold over 25 million albums worldwide. Their last studio release was 2013’s Snow Globe.
