Austin Shakespeare, a professional non-profit organization that specializes in performing Shakespeare plays, announced its cast starring Marc Pouhé as Othello. The tragedy revolves around four main characters- Othello, the Moor of Venice; his wife Desdemona; Cassio, his lieutenant and Lago, who hates Othello. The story unravels the tension that is racism, jealously, betrayal and ultimately love.
The Long Center is located at 701 W. Riverside Dr. The play begins Feb. 13 through March 2 with each performance starting at 8 p.m. Ticket prices start at $19.
