After recently performing at this year’s South by Southwest, the duo Snowblink will be hitting the road for a spring tour supporting Zammuto. The Toronto-via-Los Angeles duo has also premiered a new music video, directed by Neil Haverty of the band Bruce Peninsula, for their hit single “Inner Mini-Mississippi”. Their single is also featured on their sophomore album, Inner Classics, released last fall on Arts & Crafts. As if they weren’t busy enough, they spent a good portion of 2012 on tour with artists such as Feist, Cold Specks, Great Lake Swimmers and many more.
Snowblink is an indie pop duo formed by Daniela Gesundheit and Dan Goldman. Their music is reliant on atmospheric harmony surrounded by slow-building soundscape that grows steadily within each song. Known for their compelling new voices and feel-good beats, it’s no surprise the duo has opened for many artists such as Ohbijou, Owen Pallett, Jeff Tweedy and many more. Be sure to check out their music video for “Inner Mini-Mississippi,” with its lovely melody and soft hues of simple elements it’s sure to catch your eye.
