Moontower Update: Lineups for live podcasts are announced

I’m assuming you laughaholics already got your Moontower Comedy and Oddity Festival badges so here comes some great news for you!

As you may already know Moontower will feature three live podcasts featuring top talent in an effort to give festival-goers the opportunity to see more favorite comedians AND to be featured in their in-demand podcasts.

Marc Maron’s WTF Podcast usually features compelling monologues and in-depth interviews with well-known comedians and celebrities. The WTF Podcast will be live on Friday, April 26 at 9:45 p.m. at­ Stateside at the Paramount. It will feature guests Bill Burr, Jim Norton, Dom Irrera, Janeane Garofalo, Michael Ian Black, Maria Bamford and Todd Barry. It is considered a “must listen” by Vanity Fair and the New York Times so you won’t want to miss the opportunity to be a part of it.

The You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes podcast—also live at Moontower—will bring together comics Morgan Murphy, Dom Irrera, David Angelo and Greg Fitzsimmons. In this podcast it is Pete Holmes’ job to get everyone to share their secret weirdness. It will be recorded Wednesday, April 24 at 10:15 p.m. at The Parish.

And last but not least the Fitzdog Radio podcast with host Greg Fitzsimmons and a special guest who will be announced later. Fitzsimmons’ podcast will feature tons of hilarious dialogue and audience interaction is expected. If you want to be a part of witty, sarcastic and no holds barred banter this is the podcast for you. It will be live on Thursday, April 25 at 10:30 p.m. at ­Cap City Comedy Club.
