Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In invites moviegoers to celebrate the madness Austinites experience during the month of March. Starting March 7, ‘March at the Drive-In’ has an array of classic movies, original movie posters and a themed movie line-up to prepare you for South By South West (SXSW) festivities. Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In is paying tribute to the notable directors Hitchcock, Romero and the recent Oscar winner Quentin Tarantino. There will also be a homage to Texas native Henry Thomas. There will be three themed nights designed for SXSW-goers.
Whether you’re in the mood to get pumped for the SXSW festivities or ready to relax after a chaotic week, ‘March at the Drive-In’ has you taken care of. Guests will be escorted by an attendant. Depending on where guests are sitting, they will be escorted to areas where they can watch the film comfortably from their front seat to their truck bed. Guests can bring their own beverages or purchase them at the Drive-In’s new concession trailer. Blue Starlite Drive-In is located at 1901 E. 51 st. st (outside Austin Studios) and will be hosting their March at the Drive-In from March 7-9, 16 and 29-31.
