Fun Fun Fun Fest continues to grow. This year’s festival attendance increased by 17 percent from last year, with over 55,000 people attending in total, and an average of 18,000 people in attendance per day. The festival also created nearly 1,100 total jobs this year, up from 700 last year.
Overall, FFF Fest added over $27 million in tourism dollars to Austin’s economy, according to an ACVB calculation. Along with increases in vendor sales (24 percent higher from last year) and bar sales (19 percent higher from last year), and an assortment of FFF Fest expansions (the Action Sports aspect of FFF Fest featured over 350 non and professional athletes), the festival has grown to become a crucial part of Austin’s live music scene.
