Three years after their debut album On Your Side, A Rocket to the Moon is back in the studio to record their sophomore album. The album, which Alternative Press dubbed one of their “Most Anticipated Albums in 2012,” will be produced by Mark Bright who has worked with artists including Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Reba.
According to the official press release we were sent, the band had this to say about the new album: “We’ve grown and matured as people and musicians over the last three years, and we’re happy that you have grown with us. The songs we’ve written for this album hold a special place in our hearts, and we hope they’ll do the same for you. It’s too early to tell what the rest of the year will bring, but we know that we will be having the time of our lives sharing these songs with you. One thing is for sure, you’ll be seeing a lot of us”.
When the band finishes up in the studio, they’ll be jetting off to the Philippines for their first tour of the year. A Rocket to the Moon will be joined on their 4-day tour by Forever the Sickest Kids, The Ready Set and The Summer Set.
