Anthony Raneri, lead singer and guitarist for Bayside, announced this week that he will be releasing a solo EP in mid-January. Raneri, who began recording at Hurley Studios in Costa Mesa, CA on Dec. 13, is planning on having multiple collaborations on the as-yet-untitled EP including Steve Choi of RX Bandits, Davey Warsop of Beat Union and Jarrod Alexander of My Chemical Romance and Dead Country.
Around the same time as the EP release, Raneri will be heading out on the Where’s the Band? Tour, an annual acoustic tour featuring sets from frontmen of likeminded bands. Joining Raneir on the tour will be Ace Enders of The Early November, Chris Conley of Saves the Day, Evan Weiss of Into It. Over It. and Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids.
