Nick Thorburn (aka Nick Diamonds) is a Canadian musician, composer and producer best known for starting and co-fronting the cult indie rock band The Unicorns when he was still a teenager. Many will know him as the frontman for popular art-pop act, Islands. Thorburn also composes music for film, television and radio, most recently scoring the theme and soundtrack for the new This American Life offshoot, Serial. Thorburn is currently on tour in support of his new album, City of Quartz.
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, Nick Diamonds will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Holy Mountain. He will be joined by his touring mates, The Tulips. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
