Austin-based indie band Good Field began as the solo recording project of Paul Price, former member of Brazos and The Early Tapes, and secondary guitarist and bassist for Voxtrot. While playing with these bands, Price visited an isolated adobe in Morelos, Mexico and wrote a group of songs he imagined for a full band that eventually became their 2012 self-titled debut. Composed of Michael McLeod (bass), Kyle Robertson (keys), and Esteban Cruz (drums), the group is on the eve of releasing their new album, Future Me, this month.
On Saturday, July 18, Good Field will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at The Parish to celebrate the release of Future Me. They will be joined by fellow Austin-based indie band The Eastern Sea and Brooklyn-based Taft. The best part? We have a pair of tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
The Parish is located at 214 E. 6th Street. Doors open at 8 p.m. All ages welcome. Advance tickets for this event are available for purchase online here.
