Bay Area punk quintet Ceremony formed in 2004. They released their debut LP Violence Violence in 2006 and have been a critic and blogosphere fave ever since even though each record evolved into different waves of punk and post-punk and everything in-between. The group is currently on tour in support of their latest album, The L-Shaped Man, released in May via Matador.
On Wednesday, June 17, Ceremony will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. They will be joined by touring mates Tony Molina and Uniform. Texas’ own garage-pop outfit Radioactivity are also on the bill. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. Doors open at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. Concert will be on indoor stage. Advance tickets for this event are available for purchase online here.
