Founded in 1995 by then Weezer bassist Matt Sharp, The Rentals released their debut album, Return Of The Rentals, on Maverick Records. They released Seven More Minutes in 1999 via Maverick and after the promotional cycle for the album came to a close, the group was put on an indefinite hiatus. In 2014, announced they signed to Polyvinyl Record Co. to release their first full-length album in fifteen years.
On Saturday, May 30, The Rentals will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at The Parish. They will be joined by touring mates Radiation City and Rey Pila. The best part? We have two pairs of tickets to giveaway to a couple of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
