Austin-based punk band The Beltones formed in 1994 while living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They released two full lengths on TKO Records (On Deaf Ears & Cheap Trinkets) and four 7”s as well as numerous compilation contributions. The band is known for short and to the point songs, featuring gruff vocals, and fast tempos. Lyrics often deal with drinking and relationships with the opposite sex.
On Thursday, May 21, The Beltones will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. They will be joined by fellow Austin-based punk bands Complete Control and Berkshire Hunts. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. Doors open at 9 p.m. All ages are welcome. Event will be on indoor stage. Advance tickets for this event are available online here.
