Detroit-based experimental rock band His Word Is Alive continues to celebrate 25 years with a tour in support of their latest release,Tecuciztecatl. Their longstanding tradition of bedroom dream-pop experimentation began with self-released cassettes in the late 1980s and continued for over 13 years with the 4AD label. Since parting ways with 4AD in 2002, band leader and lone original member Warren Defever has worked full-time as a record producer, mastering engineer and remixer.
