Oakland-based half-thrash/groove metal band Machine Head formed in 1992 by two ex-“Vio-lence” members Robert Flynn and Adam Duce. Although the band has had to endure lineup changes and drug abuse since its inception, Machine Head carries on with Flynn and even earned a Grammy nomination in 2007. Today the band is currently on tour in support of their eighth full-length studio album, Blood & Diamonds.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, Machine Head will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address. Only submissions with full names will be officially entered. We will pick the winner from these submissions before 6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 19, the day before the show. The winner will be notified via email from Red River Noise.
Red 7 is located at 611 E. 7th Street. Doors open at 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. Advance tickets for this event are available online here.
