The Rocketboys’ sound reflects the Texas landscape from which they hail: vast, yet sparse, desolate, yet rich and abundant. Often compared to bands like Coldplay and Death Cab For Cutie, the group eschews familiar lyrical themes of romance and love for songs of brotherhood, family, life, and death. Their music catalog chronicles the band’s journey throughout its existence. Currently The Rocketboys are currently gearing up for a January tour in support of their upcoming EP, Left | Right.
On Thursday, Dec. 11, The Rocketboys will be performing a headlining concert in Austin at Red 7. Austin’s own Black Books and Goodfield open the show. The best part? We have two tickets to giveaway to one of our lucky Red River Noise readers.
The giveaway will be conducted as a raffle from our email list. Just click “enter the drawing” below after submitting your full name and email address.
